Zebra VC8300: Future-proof and Extremely Rugged Vehicle-Mounted Terminal

Choose between two versions the optimal solution for your requirements: The VC8300 by Zebra is an ultra-rugged vehicle-mounted terminal for demanding environments, for example, for shop floors, storage yards or freezer warehouses. The mobile computer is equipped with the future-proof Android operating system. The 8-inch version comes with multi-touch display and full alphanumeric keyboard for convenient data input. The new 10-inch model provides a large user interface. Function keys ensure convenient operability.

Convenient touch display and excellent WLAN performance: The bright touch display can easily be read regardless of environment or lighting conditions, inside as well as outside. The touchscreen can be operated with gloves. 2 x 2 MU-MIMO antennas and Zebra’s WorryFree Wi-Fi tool ensure optimal Wi-Fi performance regarding speed and range.

Mobile computing in warehousing and manufacturing environments: The Zebra VC8300 data terminal can be integrated into any kind of fork lift or industrial truck. Various mounting options are available. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor ensures reliable data processing. Use your industry specific software applications, e. g. for warehouse management or production processes.

Modern OS: Both models are equipped with the Android operating system. They enable the transformation from legacy green-screen applications into modern, interactive Android apps. The Ivanti Velocity platform is pre-installed and makes device management and migration easy. Out-of-the-box simplicity enables immediate use. Multiple peripheral devices (for example, printers, barcode scanners and PTT microphones) can be added.

High durability and low temperatures: VC8300 accessories are backward compatible with the VC70 and VC50 vehicle-mounted computers, enabling a cost-saving upgrade. The terminals are rated protection class IP66 ensuring resistance against the ingress of dust and water. Connectors are sealed. With its internal temperature sensors and heaters, the VC8300 is also suitable for freezer areas. It tolerates temperatures as low as -30 °C and provides an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to bridge about 30 minutes. The vehicle-mounted terminal can withstand shock and vibration.
