Customizable data capture solution: Two powerful scan engines are available for the Zebra PDTs TC22/TC27. They read 1D and 2D barcodes in virtually any condition. Select a suitable scan module for your applications. The SE4710 imager is suitable for capturing barcodes and QR codes at close range up to about 60 cm. With the SE55 scan engine, barcodes can be scanned at close range and at distances of up to 12.2 m. It also features Zebra’s IntelliFocus technology. For scan-intensive workflows and RFID capture, a standard trigger handle and the RFID mounts RFD40 and RFD90 are available as accessories.
Stationary use of the TC22 and TC27: The mobile computers can be easily integrated into a workstation or a POS station using the “Workstation Connect” docking station.
Robust hardware and battery options: The housing of the TC22 and TC27 is sealed against dust and water according to protection classes IP68 and IP65. Display and scan window are made of Corning Gorilla Glass. The drop resistance is specified at 1.30 m or 1.50 m with protective boot. There are several battery options to choose from: Standard battery, high-performance battery, and standard battery with Bluetooth beacon, which enables device tracking even when the battery is empty.
Additional features and options: The two handhelds TC22 and TC27 support solutions for contactless card payments as well as wallet applications like Apple VAS and Google SmartTap. They are equipped with a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Various “Workforce Connect” VoWiFi solutions can be integrated for voice communication as required.
