ZEBRA OMNII XT15: No Limits
The Zebra Omnii XT15 PDA is suitable even for extreme environmental conditions. Its robust construction makes sure the device is protected against dust, low-pressure water jets and even temporary immersion in water (protection class IP67 + IP65). Therefore, the Zebra Omnii XT15 presents the ideal solution for outdoor applications, for example in transportation, manufacturing or warehousing environments. The mobile terminal can withstand multiple drops from a height of 2 m to concrete.
To allow optimal access to various business applications, the Zebra Omnii XT15 is equipped either with the Windows CS 6.0 or with the Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 operating system. The Kiosk mode makes sure only job-related applications can be accessed. The Zebra Omnii XT15 has a bright, trans-reflective 3.7” touch display which is comfortably visible indoors and outdoors. For the Zebra Omnii XT15f there is a chiller display module for temperatures of -20 °C and an arctic extreme duty module for temperatures of as low as -30 °C available. The handy mobile computer comes with a comfortable, ergonomic design. An optional pistol grip for very scan-intensive tasks can be optionally added. There are several keypad options to choose from. Thanks to the modular approach it is possible to reconfigure hardware in the field.
All outdoor workers need reliable communications options. Different environments require, however, specific connections. That is why the Zebra Omnii XT15 provides WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth. Additionally, it can be equipped with cellular options and narrowband. Narrowband ensures stable connection in vast outdoor areas, such as seaports or large industrial outdoor areas. The strong battery lasts up to 20 hours. The Omnii XT15 is suitable for noisy environments with its vibration and high-volume beeper (95 dBA) feedback.
