The outstandingly rugged device equips your workforce with the tools needed for enhanced working procedures. The terminals not only provide convenient operation and multiple voice and data communications options but many features can also be tailored to individual needs. The MC9300 is Android-based and comes with a powerful octa-core CPU. Additionally, accessories are backward compatible with the Zebra MC9200, allowing the upgrade to a new generation at an affordable price.

ZEBRA MC9300: Advanced Usability, Communication, Data Capture and Ruggedness

For optimal data processing, the Zebra MC9300 comes with a powerful 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. 4GB RAM and 32 GB pSLC Flash memory ensure reliable, fast and long-lasting operation. Additionally, to extend memory capacity, a 32 GB SDHC card or an SDXC card with up to 256 GB can be inserted. The Zebra MC9300 runs the Android 8.1 operating system. For the control of Google Mobile Services (GMS) or other services, it is possible to use a restricted mode. Benefit from a future-proof OS solution that most employees are already familiar with and that excels with user-friendly, intuitive operation. Zebra’s Mobility DNA software suite provides enterprise-level security, productivity, management and development tools enhancing the usability of the terminal. The Zebra Mobility DNA also enables uncomplicated migration from Windows to Android, as legacy TE apps can be transformed into a smart and fresh graphical display without much effort.

Convenient data input is ensured with the 4.3-inch multi-touch display and seven keypad options to choose from. Either finger or stylus input are possible and the screen is glove-enabled. The display can even be operated when it gets wet and it is perfectly viewable under all lighting conditions, which makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Available keypad options are:

The mobile terminal MC9300 by Zebra enables reliable data acquisition. According to use, 4 barcode scanner options are possible:
SE965: standard range 1D barcode reader
SE4750SR: standard range 1D/2D barcode reader
SE4750DP: barcode reader for direct part marking (DPM)
SE4850: extended range 1D/2D barcode reader

Additionally, 2 cameras can be integrated as option: 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras.

Advanced data communication options, such as WiFi 802.11ac with 2×2 MU-MIMO technology and Bluetooth BLE 5.0, offer stable and fast connectivity. The Zebra MC9300 data terminal also supports Visible Light Communication (VLC), enabling data transmission via LED light and can, for example, be used for indoor navigation (available from 7/2019). Optionally, NFC is available for easy “tap-and-pair”. Superb voice communication is particularly important for enterprise use, which is why the Zebra MC9300 mobile computer supports voice over IP (VoIP). It can be equipped with Workforce Connect PTT Express, a push-to-talk feature for small group communication, as option. For a wider range of functions, Workforce Connect PTT Pro and the Workforce Connect Voice client can be added.

Due to its ergonomic design and the pistol grip for convenient data capture, the mobile data terminal MC9300 by Zebra is ideal for scan-intensive applications. The device is made for heavy-duty use and excels with its particularly rugged construction. It complies with protection class IP67 or IP65 to prevent the ingress of water and dust. The MC9300 withstands drops from a height of up to 2.4 m and is resistant against tumbles, vibration and thermal shock. Display and scan window are made of Corning Gorilla Glass. The operating temperature range reaches from -20 °C to +50 °C. For special applications in cold storage and freezer areas, the Zebra MC9300 is also available as freezer option (from 7/2019), which is equipped with a heater, optical bonding technology glass and a freezer-rated battery to cope with temperatures as low as -30 °C.

The MC9300 mobile computer by Zebra is equipped with an exceedingly powerful 7000 mAh battery for extended battery runtimes. A bridge battery for hot-swap and fast charging cradles ensure energy for uninterrupted use of the devices. For noisy environments, a vibrate mode can be integrated as option.
