ZEBRA KC50 SERIES: Kiosk Computers for Better Customer Service and Industrial Applications

Customizable kiosk solution: Many customers appreciate and even prefer self-service. Create an attractive kiosk solution with the Zebra KC50 series. Choose between a 15-inch and a 22-inch full HD resolution display. The touchscreen allows quick access to information and offers the possibility to carry out transactions. The terminals are equipped with a camera, microphones and loudspeakers and enable push-to-talk voice communication. As an option, a digital assistant can be added.

Benefit from a wide range of equipment options: The KC50 kiosk computers can be equipped with peripheral devices as required. The modular concept allows connection of a barcode scanner, a light bar or a payment terminal by simply attaching it to the side of the screen with a z-flex connector. It is also possible to connect a hand scanner, a printer or a secondary display.

Barcode scanner: The KC50 kiosks can be equipped with a 1D/2D barcode scanner to scan customer cards, tickets, boarding passes or barcodes on goods, for example. The SE4720 scan engine from Zebra can be attached to the side of the terminal. It is also possible to connect a handheld scanner via Bluetooth or USB cable. This solution is suitable for use in the warehouse or at the self-service checkout. Zebra scanners and software tools ensure simple and reliable data capture even with poor quality barcodes.

Payment terminals: To carry out payment transactions at the kiosk, third-party payment terminals can be attached to the side of the KC50 screen and connected via USB. The computer terminals also enable non-payment transactions via Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap.

A smart kiosk design: Zebra offers modular stand accessories for variable heights, for example for floor mounting or placement on a sales counter. The stands can house peripheral devices and the power supply. A standardized VESA bracket also enables wall mounting. The kiosk computers can be mounted both horizontally and vertically.

CPU, software and wireless connectivity: The KC50 kiosk computers are equipped with an octa-core processor from Qualcomm and offer 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Expand storage capacity by up to 2 TB using a microSD card. The devices run the Android operating system, which can be upgraded through version 16. The software suite Mobility Extensions (Mx) by Zebra covers the entire spectrum, from straightforward configuration and management of the devices to enterprise-level security. Highly reliable and fast Wi-Fi 6E ensures network availability even in large areas and in environments with a high device density. Security protocols such as WPA3 Enterprise contribute to network security. The kiosk computers also feature Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.

Robust construction and flexible power supply: The KC50 terminals are resistant to impacts. The touchscreen is made of chemically hardened glass. In accordance with protection class IP65, the devices are sealed against the ingress of dust and water. Multiple ports and flexible options for power supply via PSU or Ethernet cable (PoE) facilitate installation in different locations.
