ZEBRA FS10: Fixed Scanner for Industrial and Logistics Applications
Effortless integration and management: The FS10 fixed scanner from Zebra has been designed for easy deployment and use. Thanks to its compact design, it can be mounted virtually anywhere. A USB-C port enables connection to a host device for both data communication and power supply. The scanner can be set up and controlled centrally using the Aurora software platform. Quality assurance and traceability: The FS10 provides an efficient solution for production and logistics workflows. The fixed scanner can be used for DPM and OCR capture of components or for picking processes, for example. It captures barcodes and matrix codes at a speed of up to 60 fps. The standard range scan module with a 35-degree field of view captures barcodes from a distance of between 5 cm and 60 cm, depending on the barcode. The liquid lens adapts to varying distances at lightning speed. The sensor has a resolution of 1.2 megapixels. To achieve optimum results, illumination can be selected to suit the barcode and the ambient light. Two field-replaceable modules for red or white light are available.
Zebra’s software solutions for optimized barcode capture: Poor-quality barcodes, for example poorly printed, damaged, or dirty barcodes, can be captured right at first time with the Zebra PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology. ImagePerfect+ ensures high read rates. It captures three different images on a single item, each with its own settings. ManyCodes enables simultaneous capture of several barcodes.
Expandable solution through software licenses: The Aurora platform enables customized solutions. Decoder packages can be selected according to current requirements:

Suitable for industrial use: The FS10 is ideally suited for applications in industrial environments. Its housing is made of oil- and chemical-resistant aluminum. The compact fixed scanner is sealed against the ingress of particles and liquids in accordance with protection class IP65. The operating temperature is between 0 °C and 45 °C.
