ZEBRA ET51/ET56: Highly Adaptable Tablets for Business Applications
The Zebra ET51 and ET56 tablet computers meet all sorts of business requirements. The ET51 is available either with an 8.4-inch or a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, the ET56 comes with a compact 8.4-inch display. Equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass, the display is scratch resistant and can be operated with fingers, with gloves or a passive stylus. The bright screen is viewable under any lighting conditions, indoors or outdoors.
To suit individual requirements, the tablets ET51 and ET56 by Zebra can be equipped with an expansion back, either with a hot-swappable battery or with a 1D/2D barcode reader for high-performance data acquisition. It is also possible to pair the ET51/ET56 mobile computers with any Bluetooth-enabled barcode scanner.
The two tablet models ET51 and ET56 offer excellent processing performance.
Android versions: With the power-saving Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, providing 4 GB LPDDR4 SDRAM and 32 GB MLC eMMC Flash memory, fast data processing is ensured and even complex applications run smoothly. Android 8 is upgradeable through to Android R. Together with Zebra’s Mobility DNA, Android turns into a business-level operating system regarding manageability and security. Google Mobile Services (GMS) can be disabled. Zebra’s Mobility DNA software suite also optimizes usability and performance of the ET51 and ET56 tablet computers.
Windows versions: The ET51/ET56 versions running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise are equipped with a 64-bit Intel Atom E3940 quad core 1.6 GHz (Turbo Frequency = 1.8 GHz) processor.
All versions provide a micro SDXC card slot, supporting up to 2 TB.
Ideal for mobile applications, the Zebra ET51 and ET56 tablets are equipped with outstanding wireless connectivity: dual-band WLAN with 2×2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth and NFC. The ET56 version additionally provides data-only LTE and GPS. Video calls and photo capture are possible with the 13-megapixel (Android)/8-megapixel (Windows) rear cameras and the 5-megapixel (Android)/2-megapixel (Windows) front cameras.
The enterprise tablets ET51 and ET56 by Zebra are designed for convenient mobile use and excel in durability. They are sealed against the ingress of dust and liquids complying with protection class IP65. The computers can be equipped with a rugged frame (optional) to withstand drops from a height of 1.8 m. The devices can be mounted in vehicles, as they are resistant against shock and vibration in accordance with MIL-STD-810G. The temperature range for the operation of the Zebra ET51/ET56 tablets reaches from -20 °C to +50 °C. The battery is user replaceable.
