UNITECH RT112: Versatile Tablet Computer
A robust tablet for retail and industrial applications: Despite its slim design and light weight, the RT112 mobile computer from Unitech is suitable challenging environments. It can be used in retail as well as in trade or warehousing and logistics. The display has a brightness of up to 500 nits, it is protected by Gorilla Glass and can be operated with gloves and even when it is wet. The tablet is therefore suitable for indoors as well as outdoors applications. As it has a high shock and vibration tolerance in accordance with MIL-STD-810H, it is ideal for installation in vehicles such as forklifts.
Data processing and management: The RT112 is equipped with a Qualcomm QCM5430 processor and offers either 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB flash. A MicroSD card can be used to expand the storage capacity. Qualcomm’s Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) enables the secure execution of code within a protected environment. The Unitech software solution MoboLink can be used for deployment and management. It is also possible to integrate the RT112 into MDM solutions from VMware, SOTI, Ivanti or 42Gears. It supports Google’s ARCore to enable augmented reality applications. The device runs Android 13 and is upgradeable to versions 15 and 17. It is Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) certified.
Solutions for retail and delivery services: The RT112 terminal is suitable for applications that require contactless payment. For example, it can be used very flexibly as a mobile POS, for self-checkout systems or pop-up sales.
Cameras: For photo capture, you can use the 13-megapixel camera on the rear and for video calls the 5-megapixel camera on the front.
Additional options for a smooth workflow: If required, the RT112 data terminal is available with an integrated barcode scanner. It provides a scan range of up to 10 m and captures all common barcodes and matrix codes. By using the office cradle docking station, the RT112 can be connected to a monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer and conveniently transformed into a workstation.
