UNITECH HT730: Rugged Handheld Terminal with State-of-the-art Technology

The rugged handheld HT730 by Unitech offers a wide range of useful features enabling workers to get their job done more efficiently. At a speed of 60 frames per second, the integrated high-performance scan engine enables fast and accurate 1D and 2D data collection. For optimized handling, the imager is tilted down at a 30° angle. Depending on the barcode, it can reach a reading range of up to 20 m, which reduces walking distances and enables the convenient capture of barcodes on top shelves. The advanced scan engine has a high motion tolerance of 5 m per second. Additionally, the HT730 comes with a 13-megapixel camera.

Latest processing technology ensures effective data handling and trouble-free use of business applications. The Unitech HT730 mobile terminal is equipped with the Qualcomm 720G (SM7125) octa-core processor with a clock rate of up to 2.3 GHz. It provides 4 GB RAM and 64 GB Flash. Storage capacity can be extended by means of a MicroSD card. The Unitech HT730 runs the Android 10 operating system. For optimized management of the handheld, it comes with the MDM software MoboLink. It also supports SOTI, VMware, and 42Gears MDM solutions.

The mobile computer Unitech HT730 has an ergonomic form factor, easy to operate with one hand. Its 4-inch display provides a brightness of up to 400 nits, ensuring excellent readability in bright ambient light, enabling convenient indoors as well as outdoors use. The ultra-sensitive touch screen can be operated with gloves and when it gets wet. For manual data input, the handheld terminal is also equipped with a backlit keypad. There are two keypad options: a 29-key numeric keypad and a 38-key function and numeric keypad. Abrasion-proof keys ensure high durability.

Optimal for mobile workers is the large variety of wireless connectivity options integrated in the HT730 terminal. It comes with 2 x 2 MU-MIMO WLAN, 4 G mobile network capability with dual SIM slot, GPS and Bluetooth 5.1. The whole range of wireless connectivity contributes to improved workflows, for example, by enabling smooth mobile data transmission, data access, voice communication as well as wireless connectivity with other devices. The HT730 is also HF RFID enabled.

The rugged construction of the handheld terminal HT730 by Unitech makes it a good choice for heavy-duty use and rough environments. The terminal is sealed against dust and water in compliance with protection classes IP65 and IP67. It is resistant against drops from a height of 1.8 m and, if protected with a bumper accessory, even from 2.4 m. The robust handheld endures temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C. To ensure reliable use, the Unitech HT730 is equipped with a powerful battery. Depending on the application, it allows between 20 and 26 hours of operation. The battery is user-replaceable and can be changed without shutting the device down (hot swap).
