TSC DH SERIES: Twelve Versatile Direct Thermal Label Printers
Printers for a wide range of applications: The DH series’ desktop label printers are available with a resolution of either 203 dpi or 300 dpi. The maximum print width of the 2-inch models is 54 mm (203 dpi) or 56.9 mm (300 dpi). The 4-inch models have a print width of up to 108 mm (203 dpi) or 105.7 mm (300 dpi). The printers process a wide range of label media such as continuous, die-cut, fanfold, black mark and notched labels. Another feature of the DH series is that a linerless option can be added if required (except DH220E/DH320E). The DH series’ printers are also suitable for difficult labels such as particularly small, narrow or slightly thicker labels. An adapter for narrow labels of only 10 mm width is available as an accessory.
Simple operation: The DH series’ direct thermal printers have either status LEDs or a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The TSC Standalone-Creator and the TSCPRTGo label printing app enable standalone operation of the printers. They can be controlled via Android or iOS mobile computers. The printer series supports numerous fonts, languages and barcode symbologies. The robust double-wall housing has a clamshell design and can be opened completely to easily insert label rolls.
Data processing, integration and management: The label printers are equipped with a 32-bit RISC processor and provide 128 MB SDRAM and 128 MB flash. A MicroSD card slot enables storage expansion of up to 512 GB. The basic models DH220E and DH320E include a memory capacity of only 8 MB SDRAM and 16 MB Flash and have no microSD card slot. The DH label printers provide a self-diagnostic function and can be monitored and managed remotely via an internal embedded webpage which also enables access to a virtual control panel. The software solution TSC Console offers additional management options. The printers can also be integrated into SOTI Connect. As the DH series’ printers automatically emulate all major printer languages, you can simply continue using existing label templates. Various connections enable quick and uncomplicated integration into existing systems. Wireless interfaces such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can be added as an option (not for DH220E/DH320E).
Healthcare models: The DH series’ printers for healthcare facilities have a white, antimicrobial housing. They can withstand cleaning with disinfectants to ensure the high level of hygiene required in medical environments. The power supply complies with the standard for medical devices.
