RUGGON REXTORM PX-501B: Fully Rugged Mobile Computer with Expansion Options
A 10.1-inch high-brightness multi-touch screen allows effective mobile computing even outdoors. The RuggON Rextorm PX-501B has a particularly bright display (1000 nits) and excels with optical bonding technology for brilliant color rendition, reduced reflection and high durability. Finger input as well as hard tip stylus and digitizer are supported. The capacitive touch screen is glove-enabled and responds even with a wet surface.
For everyday use, workers need sturdy devices. That is why the RuggON Rextorm PX-501B is fully rugged, sealed against water and dust according to protection class IP65 standards. The solid tablet can withstand shocks and vibrations complying with MIL-STD-810G. It survives drops from a height of up to 1.5 m ensuring high durability even in rough environments. Operating temperatures reach from -20 °C to +60 °C. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The RuggON Rextorm PX-501B mobile computer is equipped with a high-performance 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 5350U vPro CPU, providing 8 GB DDR3L and 128 GB SSD storage which can be extended to 256 GB. The tablet runs Windows 10, 8 or 7. For security, the Rextorm PX-501B comes with TPM 2.0 and a Janus USB Ignition Key as well as Phoenix SecureWipe can be added as options.
Optimal mobile connectivity is ensured with WiFi 802.11 a/c, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR, GNSS and 4G LTE (optional). The RuggON Rextorm PX-501B also provides a dual pass-through connector for WLAN, WWAN and GNSS to make sure the connection remains stable en route.
Regarding data capture, the Rextorm PX-501B tablet computer by RuggON allows exceptional flexibility. There are two expansion modules available: 2D barcode scanner, 2-in-1 NFC and smart card reader. Additionally, the pad is equipped with an 8- and a 2-megapixel autofocus camera.
The RuggON Rextorm PX-501B mobile computer comes with a standard 4500 mAh battery lasting for 6 hours of operation. Alternatively, a 9000 mAh high-capacity battery is available providing power for up to 13 hours. A hot swap function allows battery exchange while the computer is running.
