RuggON SOL PA501: Powerful and Rugged Android Mobile Computer

The SOL PA501 by RuggON is a 10.1” rugged mobile computer. The display is made of Corning Gorilla glass and is sunlight readable (1000 nits). It supports night and stealth mode. With the fast Qualcomm octa-core processor and an Android-based platform (Android 9 Pie) with GMS, this rugged tablet is a reliable companion.

The strong 4500 mAh battery lasts for a whole shift (about 13 hours) and can be hot-swapped. Fast charging is provided and there are various accessories available, e.g. detachable keyboard, vehicle docks, hand/shoulder strap, 4-bay charger and also an extended 9000 mAh battery.

The RuggON SOL PA501 tablet comes with a built-in 2D barcode reader, OCR and fingerprint reader. It is also equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash. The mobile computer comes with 3 GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou) is also included.

The mobile computer RuggON SOL PA501 is made for rough environments. Its rugged design and high drop resistance ensure a long service life even under challenging conditions. The tablet complies with MIL-STD-810G and with protection class IP65. Interfaces: USB 3.1 type C, 2 x USB 2.0 type A, RS-232, RJ-45, optional 3rd USB 2.0, optional RF pass-through connectors (2 x). The SOL PA501 tablet offers superior wireless connectivity, including WiFi 802.11 ac with 2 x 2 MU-MIMO, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.0. NFC is available as option.
