RUGGON BLAXTONE PM-522: Tablet Computer with Modular Data Capturing Options
The RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 mobile computer enables field staff to get the job done. Its 10.4-inch capacitive multi-touch screen (aspect ratio 4:3) is available with 700-nits brightness for comfortable sunlight viewability.
Optimal wireless connectivity is achieved through WLAN 802.11 a/c, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR, 4G LTE (optional), NFC and GNSS (optional). Due to its modular design, the RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 tablet can be tailored to individual needs. Three data capturing elements, a 2D barcode scanner, a magnetic stripe reader and a smart card reader (CAC)/GNSS module are available and can be attached to the tablet computer easily with a snap-on fixture. Additionally, a 5-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel camera are integrated.
The RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 portable computer is designed for the use in rough environments. Due to its sturdy construction, including protective rubber caps, it can withstand drops from a height of 1.8 m. The rugged mobile device is sealed against the ingress of dust and protected against low pressure water jets, complying with protection class IP65. The RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 pad can withstand shocks and vibrations according to MIL-STD-810G and is therefore perfectly suitable for in-vehicle use. A vehicle docking station is available as accessory. The tablet can be operated within a temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C.
Equipped with a 1.75 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, the RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 is an excellent device for reliable mobile data handling. It provides 4 GB DDR3L SDRAM and 64 GB SSD or 128 GB/256 GB as options. The versatile tablet computer runs Windows operating systems, for example Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Entry. Windows 8 or Windows 7 are available as well.
The RuggON Blaxtone PM-522 tablet provides energy for a whole shift or even longer with an optional hot-swappable high-capacity battery.
