PANASONIC TOUGHPAD FZ-N1: Handheld Tablet for challenging Environments
The 4.7” multi-touch screen is clearly viewable irrespective of lighting conditions. It can be operated with fingers, stylus and even with gloved hands. For fast data processing, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm 2.3 GHz CPU with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. The mobile computer uses the Android 9 operating system (For Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise, please refer to Panasonic Toughbook FZ-F1). To extend storage capacity, the microSD slot allows memory cards with up to 64 GB.
With an optional active or passive pen, handwriting and signature capture are possible. The Toughpad FZ-N1 comes with 4G LTE/3G, Bluetooth 4.1, WLAN, GPS and it supports NFC. To ensure a high security level, it complies with FIPS140-2 level-1 and provides integrated ARM TrustZone.
Smart data capture is ensured with the built–in barcode reader. Its 70°-angled position prevents inconvenient postures when scanning a code, so that even scan-intensive tasks can be easily completed. The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 allows high-quality image and video capture with its two cameras: one 8 MP rear and one 5 MP front camera.
A slim form factor allows one-hand operation. Its extremely rugged construction makes the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 a true all-rounder. It is sealed against ingression of dust and immersion in water up to 1 m for 30 minutes (IP67) and it is drop-resistant to 1.8 m. The standard battery provides energy for a whole 8-hours shift. Optionally, there is an extended 6,400 mAh battery available to extend operation time to 16 hours. The battery is user-replaceable and the tablet is hot swap-enabled.
