PANASONIC TOUGHBOOK G2: Adjustable Outdoor-ready Tablet

Not “off the shelf”: If you are looking for a portable computer that can be exactly customized to your needs, the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK G2 in an excellent choice. With its Intel Core i5-10310U vPro CPU, it offers high processing performance. Intel Turbo Boost Technology enables a clock rate of up to 4.4 GHz. The mobile computer comes with 16 GB DDR4 RAM. Up to 32 GB memory are possible on request. As standard, the TOUGHBOOK G2 is equipped with 512 GB built-in SSD storage. Should you require more flexibility, the G2 tablet computer is also available with a quick-release SSD, allowing a storage capacity up to 1 TB.

Professional OS: The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK G2 runs the operating system Windows 10 Pro.

Outdoor challenges: Field workers are faced with diverse problems that outdoor work entails. Bright sunlight makes it hard to read displays. The TOUGHBOOK G2 tablet PC is, therefore, equipped with a luminous display screen, reaching a brightness of up to 1000 nits (cd/m²). Its 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen remains operable with gloves and when it rains. In accordance with protection class IP65, the tablet is sealed against the ingress of dust and water. It has also been tested to comply with MIL-STD-810H standards.

What features does your workflow require? Perfect for individual modification, the new mobile computer Panasonic TOUGHBOOK G2 offers a configuration port and an expansion area. The configuration port can be equipped with factory-installed options: serial, LAN or USB port, 2D barcode scanner or thermal image camera (by FLIR). A smart card or an HF-RFID reader module can be inserted in the expansion bay area.

Wireless connectivity: In addition to the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard, the TOUGHBOOK G2 tablet by Panasonic comes with 4G LTE, GPS and Bluetooth 5.1.

“Smile, please!” Integrated cameras at the front and rear side of the tablet are a useful feature enabling photo documentation or video calls.

Not easily exhausted: Long battery runtimes of up to 12 hours with the standard battery or up to 18.5 hours with the extended battery option ensure smooth procedures without interruption. The battery is user replaceable. As option, the TOUGHBOOK G2 tablet computer is available with hot-swap function.
