NORDIC ID HH83: Mobile Computer with Barcode Reader – Upgradeable with RFID Module

The compact portable computer HH83 by Nordic ID is equipped with a 1D/2D imager that is easy to use and generates accurate results. It comes with a clearly visible LED aimer. Depending on the code that needs to be captured, it automatically switches between scan line and aiming dot. A haptic, a visual and an acoustic signal provide good-read confirmation. The Nordic ID HH83 is also equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera.
If required, the HH83 data capturing device can be upgraded with the RFID ACD module, extending the scope of application. The RFID module supports ETSI as well as FCC/IC frequencies. A reading range of up to 15 m provides ultimate convenience. Vertical as well as horizontal polarization of the antenna is possible and can be controlled via software tools. The Nordic ID NUR2-1W RFID module captures up to 1000 tags per second.
The 4.7-inch touch display offers a convenient user interface. For optimal durability, the touch screen is equipped with Gorilla Glass 3. The Nordic ID HH83 handheld is glove-enabled. Multiple communications options allow optimal connectivity: dual band WiFi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G/LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 Class 2, NFC and USB 2.0 via Type-C connector. Additionally, the device can be equipped with GNSS as an option.
The Nordic ID HH83 data capturing device comes with a 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core processor. It provides 2 GB RAM and 16 GB Flash memory which can be extended by means of a microSD card. The Android 9 operating system ensures convenient and easy use of the mobile computer.
Because of its rugged design, the HH83 PDA by Nordic ID is outstandingly durable, suitable for heavy-duty scanning. It complies with protection class IP65 and survives drops from a height of 1.6 m. The operating temperature range is between -20 °C and +55 °C. The powerful user-replaceable battery lasts for up to 12 hours of intensive use per charge. The device is hot-swap enabled.
