NEWLAND WD3 BADGE SCANNER: Slim Wearable Bluetooth Scanner

The wearable scanner WD3 from Newland is equipped with a megapixel sensor to capture barcodes and matrix codes from paper as well as from displays. Even particularly dense codes or codes of poor quality can be easily scanned with the WD3. It has a red laser aimer. Once the barcode has been scanned, the user receives feedback via an acoustic signal, LED, and vibration. With the Acuscan technology, barcodes can be precisely selected and scanned, for example on a pick list or when several codes are printed close together.

Connect the WD3 to a mobile computer via Bluetooth to transmit acquired data directly to the system or save collected data on the device in batch mode and transfer it to a host device later via Bluetooth or cable. This option provides high flexibility.

Because of its flat and lightweight design, the WD3 can easily be taken along. A lanyard and a retractable belt clip are included. The housing of the WD3 wearable scanner is particularly robust with no moving parts. Therefore, the device is resistant to drops. It is also protected against the ingress of dust and water in accordance with protection class IP65. The integrated rechargeable battery has a runtime of up to eight hours.
