NEWLAND WD1: Watch Scanner

Smooth working processes with wearables: The WD1 by Newland is worn on the wrist like a watch. It captures all common barcodes as well as QR codes. The hands remain free for the work at hand, for example, stocking shelves or carrying packages. With its 2.8-inch touchscreen, the WD1 is convenient to use. A function key on the side can be customized as required.

Data processing: The WD1 watch scanner is equipped with a quad-core processor and offers 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The WD1 is Android-based. It can be used with MDM software from SOTI and is compatible with StayLinked and Ivanti Velocity TE applications.

Useful features: The compact wearable scanner is equipped with interfaces for wireless connectivity: WLAN, WWAN, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0. Speakers and a microphone are integrated. In addition, the WD1 has a 13-megapixel camera. The non-removable battery lasts up to 12 hours.

Robust construction: Rugged equipment is essential in many industries. Newland’s WD1 has high drop resistance and is sealed against dust and water in accordance with protection class IP67. It can be used at temperatures between -20 °C and +50 °C. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
