M3 MOBILE SM15 SERIES: Office in a Pocket
The SM15 series by M3 Mobile covers a large field of applications. The smart, lightweight mobile terminals are ideally suited for customer-facing sales or field service tasks. Because of their robust design, they can also be used in more challenging environments. The compact portable computer terminals enable access to information as well as the reliable transmission of data. Ultra-fast data acquisition with the integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner significantly enhances the efficiency of working processes. The Zebra SE4750 MR scanning unit will also be available from August 2020, reading distances of 6m can be achieved here. The handhelds are also equipped with high-resolution cameras.
Depending on the model, the SM15 series’ PDAs are equipped with a powerful 2.2 GHz or 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor to ensure fast data processing and smooth operation of all your business applications. The handheld terminals run the operating system Android 8.1 Enterprise with GMS. As standard, the mobile computers are equipped with WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE class 2 and NFC. The X and N versions additionally provide 4G LTE and GPS.
A large 5-inch touch display offers operation convenience with fingers, gloves or with a pen. The brilliant display is viewable under any lighting conditions and it can be navigated even if the surface is wet, which makes the M3 Mobile SM15 series’ mobile computers an ideal solution for outdoor applications. For enhanced durability, the screen is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

To ensure a long service life, the data terminals of the M3 Mobile SM15 series are particularly robust. The devices can be used within a temperature range from -20 °C to +60 °C. With a special protective frame, the mobile terminals can withstand drops from a height of 1.8 m. The devices are sealed to prevent the ingress of dust and water complying with protection class IP65.
The mobile terminals of the SM15 series come with a powerful rechargeable battery that lasts for more than a shift. If required, an extended battery is available as well. Because of the hot-swap functionality, batteries can be changed while the device is running and without the need to reboot.
