Honeywell EDA71: Rugged, Convertible, Enterprise-ready Tablet
With the new EDA71, Honeywell offers an enterprise-ready tablet providing aggressive scanning capabilities of 1D/2D barcodes allowing convenient data capturing. It is, therefore, suitable for different application areas, such as retail, transport and logistics as well as field service. The Android 8 platform is upgradable to Android 9 and 10 which makes the EDA71 a future-proof investment.
The large 7-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass is readable indoors and outdoors. The tablet’s multitouch screen is comfortable to use and can even be operated with wet hands. For a secure and stable connectivity, the EDA71 is equipped with WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth and NFC. That is why it is a perfect solution for business-critical applications.
The Honeywell EDA71 withstands multiple drops from a height of 1.2 m as well as over 200 tumbles (from a height of 0.5 m). The device is extremely rugged and comes with an IP65 sealing, ensuring protection against dust and splashing water. The tablet excels with a light weight and a sleek design.
There is also a wide range of accessories available, like a rotating hand strap, a carry case or a vehicle dock. The entire accessory range is backwards compatible with Honeywell’s EDA70.
