HONEYWELL SCANPAL EDA10A: Robust Business-Level Tablet Computer

Wi-Fi 6 enables quick access to any required information, and it ensures reliable data communication. The tablet’s 10-inch screen offers a comfortable user interface. The split-screen feature allows the use two apps simultaneously. With a brightness of up to 550 nits, the high-resolution display can be used even in bright ambient light.
Data handling: The mobile terminal ScanPal EDA10A features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4350-AC octa-core processor. There is a choice between 4 GB RAM/64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage. Additionally, with a microSD card the storage capacity can be extended by up to 2 TB. The compact computer runs the Android 12 operating system. It is expected to be upgradeable to Android 14. Besides the mobile usability, the EDA10A can also be connected to a keyboard and mouse via display dock (accessory option) and be used as a workstation.
Barcode capture, photo and video capabilities: In many industries, digital data capture is critical. For this reason, Honeywell has integrated a powerful scan engine into the ScanPal EDA10A tablet computer. 1D and 2D barcodes can be captured in any condition. Whether on the sales floor or in the warehouse, the ScanPal EDA10A puts the barcode scanner at your fingertips. The two integrated cameras enable photo and video capture, for example, to get technical help or attend meetings via video call. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
Contactless payment: An integrated NFC reader supports contactless payment methods, for example Honeywell Smart Pay, which is handy for mobile POS solutions or the delivery of goods.
Industrial Applications: The Honeywell ScanPal EDA10A mobile computer is suitable for harsh environmental conditions and is ready for applications in warehousing and manufacturing. Gorilla Glass 5 makes the display particularly resistant to mechanical damage like scratches or breakage. The tablet is also resistant against drops from a height of 1.3 m, with protective boot (accessory option) even from a height of 2 m. It is sealed against dust and water according to protection class IP65 and can be used at temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C. The device is also suitable for use in vehicles. In accordance with the MIL-STD-810H standard, it is insensitive to vibration. A suitable vehicle dock is available as accessory option. The mobile terminal is equipped with a powerful battery. Depending on the application, it can be used up to 12 hours per charge. The battery can be changed while the device is running.
Voice communication: The tablet computer ScanPal EDA10A supports Honeywell’s Smart Talk voice-over-IP solutions.
