HONEYWELL RT10W: Windows-based Rugged Tablet Computer

The Honeywell RT10W tablet computer is suitable for a large spectrum of applications. Because of its robust design, it fits into challenging industrial environments, it is also ideal for outdoor tasks or maintenance work but can also be used by management personnel to improve workflow efficiency. The RT10W is equipped with a powerful 64-bit Intel Pentium N4200 Apollo Lake processor. The dynamic 1.1 GHz CPU provides up to 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology. It comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage that can be expanded by means of a MicroSDXC card. The Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system allows a rather flexible approach and high adaptability to business applications as well as advanced security features. Two programmable function keys enable direct access to frequently used applications.

The large 10.1-inch touch screen of the tablet computer Honeywell RT10W offers a high-definition image display. 800 Nits brightness allows convenient outdoors use with optimal viewability despite bright sunlight. Optical bonding technology also contributes to a high-contrast image rendition and ensures high durability.

Working processes can be improved with 1D and 2D data capturing capabilities. The Honeywell RT10W tablet has an integrated barcode reader. Depending on requirements, it can be equipped, with a Honeywell FlexRange Imager which is able to read barcodes from distances between less than 10 cm and over 10 m or with a Honeywell N6703 Standard Range imager. Also, the RT10W offers an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Multiple wireless connectivity options ensure optimal mobile use of the Honeywell RT10W tablet. It provides WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.0 to keep workers connected to the system and enable seamless voice, text, video and data communication throughout the enterprise.

The tablet computer RT10W by Honeywell is particularly robust. It is sealed against the ingress of dust and water according to protection class IP65. The sturdy mobile device can withstand drops from a height of 1.2 to concrete. It is also suitable for the use in vehicles and is resistant against shock and vibration. It complies with MIL-STD-810G. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. If used with AC power, the mobile computer can be operated within a temperature range from -20 °C to +60 °C, with battery power from -10 °C to +50 °C.

The Honeywell RT10W tablet comes with a powerful battery pack lasting for about 8 hours per charge. The battery is user-replaceable. If required, a high-performance battery is available providing power for up to 16 hours per charge. The battery is hot-swappable and can be changed while the computer is running.
