HONEYWELL RPf SERIES: Label Printers for Smart On-the-go Printing

Smart mobile printing: With the RPf series’ label printers by Honeywell, you can simply print on site. This allows a continuous workflow, high convenience and efficiency right at the customer’s front door, in the warehouse, on the sales floor, or at the bedside in a hospital room. The RP2f is a 2-inch printer, the RP4f is a 4-inch printer. They can be attached to a belt or carried with a shoulder strap. Multiple printer command languages facilitate integration and use.

Small dimensions, big performance: The RP2f and RP4f by Honeywell are direct thermal printers. They print both barcodes and fonts at a resolution of 203 dpi and achieve print speeds of between 1 and 5 ips.

For the sake of simplicity – RP2f and RP4f: These small printers are made for everyday use. They are easy to operate and manage. The Operational Intelligence software solution from Honeywell enables quick setup and use. By means of Operational Intelligence, the printers can be monitored, and settings be optimized. It also enables proactive maintenance. The RPf printer series is compatible with SOTI’s software solutions.

Excellent connections: The RPf series’ printers offer wireless connectivity options: 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE. A USB 2.0 port with OTG is also integrated enabling the connection to additional devices, such as scanner or keyboard. The printers are equipped with NFC for simple pairing. With WEP, WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 encryption protocols, the two label printer models RP2f and RP4f ensure high security.

Quick media loading: Drop-in media loading ensures simple handling and allows the use of multiple media types. Both printers are capable of handling different media types: labels with black mark or gap, receipt paper and tags. A linerless option is available.

Small printers that can take rough handling: The label printers RP2f and RP4f were not designed for the desktop but for mobile work. Therefore, their construction is extremely robust. The printers can withstand drops from a height of up to 2 meters. They are also protected against the ingress of water and dust, with an IP54 rating. No matter whether it is winter or summer, the devices can handle temperatures between -20 °C and +55 °C.

Power for the long haul: Honeywell has equipped the two mobile printers with powerful Li-ion batteries. LEDs show the battery status. Because of the hot-swap capability, the battery can be replaced while the device is running. Thanks to smart energy management, the batteries are reliable in everyday use and achieve a long service life.
