HONEYWELL PD45/PD45S: Industrial Label Printer Series with Multiple Options
Convenience: With “Smart Printing”, label-printing applications can be run directly on the PD45 and PD45S printers without the need for a host computer. Some models are equipped with LCD or touch screen, ensuring simple operation. The smart label printers support FP, DP, IPL, ZPL and DPL printer command languages and are suitable for SAP and Oracle (XML can be enabled). An ARM Cortex-A7 800 MHz CPU with 128 MB memory and 128 MB storage is integrated.
Flexibility: Direct thermal as well as thermal transfer printing methods are possible. Honeywell’s dual-sensor positioning technology ensures precise printing on various types of labels. The PD45 and PD45S series’ printers are able to process continuous and non-continuous media with black marks, guide holes or notches as well as tag paper.
Ruggedness: Honeywell’s printer series PD45/PD45S is made for a long life and for challenging environments. The frame is made of metal and internal mechanical parts are reduced to a minimum in order to ensure high durability and a long service life. The printers are equipped with an industrial printhead.
Simplicity: Not only is the configuration and operation of the PD45/PD45S printers easy, they are also uncomplicated to maintain and clean. A glass window allows you to monitor the printing process and a large side door enables convenient access, for example, for media loading or printhead replacement.
PD45/PD45S printer series models:
PD4500 B: Basic model with simple LED and one-button user interface. USB 2.0 Host and USB 2.0 Device ports. Options: Wi-Fi. Print resolution: 203 dpi, 300 dpi. Print speed: 2-8 ips (203 dpi), 2-4 ips (300 dpi).
PD4500 C: 2.36” LCD + keys user interface. USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, Ethernet 10/100 and RS-232 ports. Options: Wi-Fi, dual serial ports (RS-232, RS422 + RS-485), cutter. Print resolution: 203 dpi, 300 dpi. Print speed: 2-8 ips (203 dpi), 2-4 ips (300 dpi).
PD45S0 C: 2.36” LCD + keys user interface. USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, Ethernet 10/100 and RS-232 ports. Options: Wi-Fi, parallel port, dual serial port (RS-232, RS422 + RS-485), labeling machine interface, industrial GPIO interface, cutter, peeler and rewinder. Print resolution: 203 dpi, 300 dpi. Print speed: 2-10 ips (203 dpi), 2-8 ips (300 dpi).
PD45S0 F: 3.5” touch screen. USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, Ethernet 10/100 and RS-232 ports. Options: Wi-Fi, parallel port, dual serial port (RS-232, RS422 + RS-485), labeling machine interface, industrial GPIO interface, cutter, peeler and rewinder. Print resolution: 203 dpi, 300 dpi.
