Honeywell’s Dolphin CT60 XP comes in a slightly new design and sets new standards in terms of data communication and scan performance. The handy mobile computer Dolphin CT60 XP is based on Honeywell’s latest mobile technology, the Mobility Edge platform. This comprehensive architecture includes hardware as well as software and is based on the Android operating system. Because of its all-embracing concept, Mobility Edge accelerates the deployment and management of mobile devices and simplifies the migration of applications and data, also from other operating systems, such as Windows. Additionally, it improves performance and security, which altogether contributes to an extremely flexible and trouble-free utilization of devices throughout the company. The holistic approach provided by Mobility Edge minimizes risks and reduces the total cost of ownership.

Honeywell’s Dolphin CT60 XP handheld is equipped with a strong, rechargeable battery providing operation times of more than 12 hours. Battery can be conveniently exchanged during operation (warm-swap). Improved sealing, in accordance with protection classes IP68 and IP65, ensures the terminal’s resistance against particles and splashing water and even immersion in water. The mobile computer is also resistant against drops from a height of up to 2.4 m to concrete.

The new handheld Honeywell Dolphin CT60 XP excels with optimized visibility even in bright sunlight. Its 4.7-inch high-definition touch screen provides up to 500 nits brightness. Advanced optical bonding technology also contributes to an optimized image rendition as well as improved durability. The display is made of scratch- and shock-resistant Gorilla Glass 5 and can be operated with fingers, gloves or stylus. Its surface is water repellent and oleophobic (fingerprint rejection).

The Dolphin CT60 XP handheld terminal by Honeywell comes with a 13-megapixel camera and 1D and 2D data capturing capabilities. Three different scanner options are available for the Dolphin CT60 XP. The novel flex-range scan engine N6803 FR allows extraordinary scanning distances of up to 8 m and provides the most flexible solution. The N6703 SR is a standard-range 2D imager, the N6703 HD also enables 1D and 2D reading capabilities for high-density codes. Both provide superb scanning performance, high motion tolerance and are available either with a high-brightness LED or with a laser aimer. Honeywell barcode readers work fast and accurately, even if the barcodes are damaged or of poor quality. Together with Honeywell’s Mobility Edge performance tools, data acquisition is simple and efficient. The Dolphin CT60 XP terminal is equipped with convenient scan triggers on either side and it can also be used with an optional pistol grip for scan-intensive applications.

For optimal voice and data communication, the Honeywell Dolphin CT60 XP is equipped with 4G LTE-Advanced, enabling speeds of up to 300 Mbps and providing improved network coverage. The terminal also comes with WiFi with 2 x 2 MIMO technology and fast-roaming, integrated Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Advanced network connectivity enables large file transfers, video streaming etc. A powerful 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core CPU with 4 GB DDR4 RAM and 32 GB Flash as well as extendable storage capacity via microSD card (up to 512 GB) enable reliable data processing and the use of complex business applications. The handheld terminal runs Android 9. It is upgradeable through Android 11 and is even expected to be compatible through Android 13, ensuring a future-proof investment.
