HONEYWELL CT45/CT45 XP: A New Generation of Compact Mobile Computers
Powerful mobile computing with latest CPU standards: The octa-core processor SD 4290 by Qualcomm is designed for business applications and provides high computing performance. With the handheld terminals CT45 and CT45 XP by Honeywell, you can run business applications smoothly. The CT45 XP is equipped with 6 GB DDR4 RAM and 64 GB UFS Flash memory, the CT45 with 4 GB DDR4 RAM and 64 GB UFS Flash. Memory can be extended by up to 512 GB with a MicroSD card.
Well-known OS, long-term support: The two handhelds CT45 and CT45 XP both run Android 11. At least two more versions are supported, which makes them a future proof investment.
Mobility Edge Platform and Operational Intelligence: Honeywell’s Mobility Edge integrates hardware (SOM), software and operating system in one single mobile device platform. It enables fast deployment: configure once and apply to all devices across the enterprise. The Mobility Edge also optimizes the performance of applications, such as communication or data capturing tools. The platform keeps OS and software updated to ensure high level security. The CT45 and CT45 XP also support Honeywell’s Operational Intelligence, which enables full visibility of mobile devices.
Convenient operation: Either with Full HD (CT45 XP) or with HD (CT45) resolution, the large 5-inch display offers a comfortable user-interface with multi-touch capabilities. To ensure high durability and scratch resistance, the screen is optically bonded and made of Gorilla Glass 5.
Data collection increases efficiency: The mobile computers CT45 and CT45 XP are equipped with a scan engine to enable fast data capture. There are two options available: The Honeywell FlexRange imager for flexible high-performance data capture within a range from only a few centimeters to up to 10 m. Also available is the Honeywell S0703 standard-range imager. A physical scan button at each side of the device and an additional on-screen scan button are easy to reach and provide high convenience. A pistol grip is also available as accessory.
Photo capture and video calls: Modern work processes oftentimes require photo documentation. This can be necessary, when products are defective on arrival. Workers connect via video conference or receive video support. The two handheld terminals CT45 and CT45 XP by Honeywell come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Excellent connectivity: Newest 802.11 ax standard (Wi-Fi 6) as well as 2 x 2 MU-MIMO wireless technology are available as option for the CT45 XP. This advanced WLAN technology enables higher speed and more reliable network connectivity even in high-density environments, such as airports or trade fair halls, where a large number of mobile and IoT devices access the network simultaneously. Both handhelds, the CT45 and CT45 XP, are available with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 ac) and are equipped with 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC reader as standard. They provide a dual SIM card slot, either for nano SIM cards or for one nano SIM and one eSIM card (XP only).
Voice communication: The two compact mobile devices Honeywell CT45 and CT45 XP are PTT enabled and support VoIP solutions. 3 integrated microphones and noise cancellation technology ensure superb voice quality.
Device finder: In order to locate misplaced, lost or stolen devices, the CT45 XP is optionally available with an additional Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon. This secondary Bluetooth feature can be traced even if the battery is empty.
Small, hard-wearing computers: Characterized by their rugged construction, the portable data terminals CT45 and CT45 XP are an ideal choice for mobile workers. Dust or water cannot harm the robust devices. They are sealed in compliance with protection classes IP68 and IP65. Drops from a height of up to 1.8 m do not present a problem for the sturdy handhelds. If protected by a rubber boot, they can even withstand drops from 2.4 m. The operating temperature range is from -20 °C to +50 °C.
Full of energy: A smart battery with integrated diagnostics provides power for up to 12 hours. Battery is swappable and the XP version allows a battery swap while the device is running (warm swap). Even when used with protective boot, the battery compartment of the data terminals is easily accessible. The handhelds CT45 and CT45 XP by Honeywell offer quick charging capability.
Accessories: Scan handle, vehicle dock, holsters, hand strap, spare battery, 4-bay charger (opt. with Ethernet connector) etc. Some CT40 equipment is compatible.
