HONEYWELL DOLPHIN CT40 XP: Future-proof Mobile Computer

The mobile computer CT40 XP by Honeywell was particularly designed for the application in the service sector, such as retail, transport and logistics as well as delivery. With the modern handheld device, workflow efficiency can be improved, processes accelerated and customer satisfaction improved, for example on the sales floor. The handy mobile computer, designed by Honeywell, is also ideal for inventory tasks. Its 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core CPU ensures dependable data processing. 4 GB RAM and 32 GB Flash can be extended by up to 512 GB by inserting a microSD card (SDXC/SDHC/SDIO supported).

Honeywell’s Mobility Edge platform enables uncomplicated setup, integration and management of the Dolphin CT40 XP touch computer. The Mobility Edge provides tools that enhance functionality and performance of application software, such as digital data collection or data and voice communication apps. It also enables intelligent energy management. The comprehensive platform ensures a long lifecycle and low TCO of the Honeywell Dolphin CT40 XP mobile computer.

The long-lasting battery provides energy for more than 12 hours that is more than a whole shift. The Android-based mobile computer Dolphin CT40 XP by Honeywell is also equipped with a high-performance barcode reader. Choose either the brand-new N6803 FR “FlexRange” imager that allows scan distances of up to 8 m, or the N6703 SR standard range imager, to suit individual business requirements. At either side of the terminal, there is a physical scan button. Additionally, the CT40 XP has a virtual on-screen scan button, which can also be assigned to other functions. The mobile terminal comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

Latest wireless technology, such as 2 x 2 MIMO WLAN (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/d/e/h/i/k/r/u/w), Bluetooth 5.0 + BLE and NFC, enables reliable data communication. The mobile computer terminal Honeywell Dolphin CT40 XP is also available with 4G LTE Advanced as option. It supports Push-to-Talk and VoIP voice communication options and is equipped with a designated PTT button. The device can be located by means of an integrated beacon, even if the battery is low.

Despite its slim design, the mobile terminal Dolphin CT40 XP by Honeywell is particularly robust. It is resistant against the ingress of dust and water complying with protection class IP67. The mobile computer can withstand several drops from a height of 1.2 m to concrete and, if it is equipped with the optional rubber boot, even from a height of 1.8 m. Its 5-inch display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
