The Honeywell Dolphin CN80 handheld terminal was developed for logistics, warehousing and field service etc. applications. Its strong 2.2 GHz octa-core processor with 3 GB/4 GB RAM and 32 GB Flash, expandable to 512 GB via microSD card, enables fast and reliable data processing. Honeywell’s long-term approach includes an upgradeable operating system, supporting four Android versions from 7.1 Nougat to Q. The Mobility Edge platform by Honeywell provides a holistic and dynamic hardware-software solution and allows fast and uncomplicated implementation and management of multiple mobile devices throughout the company. The Mobility Edge platform ensures increased security, optimized data capture and an enhanced device life cycle.

The mobile data capturing terminal Dolphin CN80 by Honeywell excels with a 4.2-inch touchscreen with optical bonding technology for outstanding optical quality, less reflection and improved durability. The bright multi-touch display can be operated with fingers, even with gloves or stylus. Legacy applications, that have not yet been updated and require key input don’t need to be replaced. The Honeywell Dolphin CN80 mobile terminal is available with two keypad options: 23-key numeric or 40-key QWERTY.

For precise barcode capture, the data acquisition device Honeywell Dolphin CN80 is equipped with a high-performance 1D/2D barcode scanner covering distances from 0.15 m to 15.2 m. The device has two side scan triggers. For scan-intensive tasks it can be fitted with a pistol grip to avoid fatigue. Also, the multi-functional MDT comes with a 13-megapixel camera to enable high-resolution image capture.

Secure and dependable data and voice communication is possible with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 802.11 r and, additionally, 802.11 k/mc by future release. The Honeywell Dolphin CN80 also provides LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 Class 1.5 + BLE and NFC and supports Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality.

Devices that are used in industrial or similar challenging environments need to be particularly hard-wearing. The Honeywell Dolphin CN80 handheld computer terminal is perfectly suitable for the use in rough settings. It can withstand drops from 2.4 m to concrete and is sealed against the ingress of dust and water complying with protection class IP65/IP67. The mobile data terminal can be operated within a temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C. For the application in refrigerated areas, there is a special model available (temperature range: -30 °C to +50 °C). Also, there is a non-incendive version for the use in hazardous locations available. The Honeywell Dolphin CN80 comes with a strong 5800 mAh Li-Ion battery ensuring extended battery runtime.
