For comfortable handling, the Datalogic QuickScan QD2131 comes with an ergonomic form factor and a lightweight design. The point-and-shoot functionality, along with a clearly visible scan line and the patented “Green Spot” good-read confirmation, make the device an all-purpose laser scanner that is easy to operate. Due to its extra-wide field of view and extra-long scan line, this useful barcode reader presents an ideal solution for the capture of particularly long linear barcodes that are usually rather challenging for full area imagers. Also, the extended reading range provides more flexibility and allows versatile use, for example in retail, for inventory management, banks, utilities, entertainment etc. applications.
The Datalogic QuickScan QD2131 is designed for everyday use. That is why its construction is sturdy and the housing is sealed to comply with protection class IP42 standard. The barcode reader can withstand multiple drops from a height of 1.5 m.
To enable fast and easy integration, the Datalogic QuickScan QD2131 is equipped with multiple interface options: Keyboard Wedge, OEM (IBM) USB, RS-232, USB. For additional convenience, the smart little scanning devide can be managed remotely.
