DATALOGIC POWERSCAN PD9531: Robust Industrial Hand Scanner
Perfect to meet the challenges in rough environments, the robust Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 barcode scanner enables fast and easy barcode scanning. The corded scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes as well as stacked and postal codes. Due to the frame aimer and the point-and-shoot scanning technique, the PowerScan PD9531 can be used intuitively. The omnidirectional reading functionality of the area imager and reading ranges from contact to over 1 m ensure easy data capture right at the first time. Thanks to 3GL technology (3 Green Lights technology) and a loud acoustic signal, the user receives clear good-read feedback when the barcode has been successfully read. Datalogic provides appropriate software to achieve optimal results.
The two available models are:
-Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 standard model for standard resolution codes.
-Datalogic PowerScan PD9531-HP high-performance model with a liquid optical lens for high-resolution linear codes (2.5 mils).
Due to its ergonomic form factor, the Datalogic PowerScan PD9531 is comfortable to hold and therefore ideal for scan-intensive jobs. Motionix, the Datalogic motion-sensing technology, recognizes when the scanner is picked up and switches into handheld mode automatically. The soft-pulsed light is easy on the eyes. The PowerScan PD9531 comes with RS-232, USB and keyboard wedge interfaces.
To ensure longevity in industrial environments, the PowerScan PD9531 by Datalogic is particularly robust. It can withstand multiple drops from a height of up to 2 m. To prevent the ingress of water and dust, it complies with protection class IP65. Operating temperatures range from -20 to +50 °C.
Accessories: holster, stand (for hands-free operation), desk/wall holder etc.
