Datalogic Powerscan PBT9500: Solid Scanning Technology
The PowerScan PBT9500 is ergonomically designed and fits therefore nicely in the hand. The aiming device makes the scanning process child’s play and the movement detection technology (Motionix) switches the device to the required scanning mode automatically. When the read-in process was successful, the hand scanner gave a visual (3GL – 3 Green Lights) and an acoustic feedback.
With these handheld scanner, you are ready for all challenges, as the scanner decodes 1D, 2D, post and stack codes, both standard and especially wide or HD codes. It also has an image capture.
The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9500 offers the best possible of freedom of movement thanks to the Bluetooth 3.0 class 1 wireless technology. Depending on the resolution of the barcode, the scanner is able to read codes up to a distance of more than 1 m.
Smart energy management ensures extremely durable battery performance. The battery can also be exchanged in seconds, which means that intensive scanning performance can go on without interruption. In addition, the smart device is incredibly stable. Even after 50 falls from a height of 2 m to concrete, it was still fully functional in tests. It has IP65 rating protection. Another variant is the PowerScan PBT9500RT. This scanner is specifically designed for the retail area. Cordless and equipped with Bluetooth, it scans 1D and 2D codes as well as digital watermark like Digimarc barcodes.
