DATALOGIC MEMOR 30/MEMOR 35: Mobile Computing and Powerful Data Capture

Data terminals for versatile applications: Thanks to their handy size, the two data terminals Memor 30 and Memor 35 offer a convenient user interface for mobile workflows. The 6-inch display shows content in FHD+ resolution with a brightness of up to 500 nits. This makes the screen easy to read even in bright ambient light. The robust touchscreen can be operated with a finger, with gloves, or with a stylus. Gorilla Glass protects it against scratches and breakage.

Data capturing capabilities: Datalogic is a renowned developer and manufacturer of barcode readers with decades of experience in this field. In most industries, digital data capture has become essential. For the mobile computers Memor 30 and Memor 35, the scan engine can be selected to suit the application. The standard range scan engine Halogen DE2121-DL provides an optimal solution for barcode capture at close range up to about one meter distance. For larger distances of up to ten meters, you can choose the scan module Halogen DE2121-ER. All common 1D and 2D barcodes can be read. Datalogic’s DeepSight technology enables data capture both in dark environments and in very bright light, for example in outdoor areas. The scanners capture printed barcodes in any condition, even if they are of poor quality, dirty or damaged. They are also able to read barcodes from screens. To trigger a scan, you can use the two physical scan buttons on each side of the devices or a virtual scan trigger that can be positioned on the display as required. Once a barcode has been scanned, the user receives clear feedback.

Data processing and operating system: The two handhelds Memor 30 and Memor 35 are equipped with the Qualcomm QCx4490, a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor. They provide 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The storage capacity can be expanded by up to 2 TB using a MicroSD card. The mobile computers are certified Android Enterprise Recommended (AER). They run the Android 13 operating system which can be upgraded to version 18. The devices are compatible with MDM solutions from SOTI, VMware, Microsoft, 42Gears and Ivanti as well as with TE solutions from Ivanti and StayLinked. The portable data terminals can be integrated into a workstation using a docking station.

Wireless connectivity: Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E enables multi-gigabit speeds. WPA3 Enterprise ensures enterprise-level security. Both data terminals are also equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The Memor 35 also offers 5G and GPS.

Cameras and push-to-talk: The Memor 30 and Memor 35 mobile computers are both equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera for photo capture. In addition, an 8-megapixel camera is available on the front for video calls. Two noise-canceling microphones and speakers ensure excellent audio quality. The mobile computers can be used with PTT solutions, for example Zello PTT.

Durable mobile devices: The rugged mobile terminals Memor 30 and Memor 35 are ready for industrial applications. They can withstand drops from a height of 1.2 m and with a rubber boot even from 1.8 m. The devices can be disinfected with chemical cleaning agents. They are sealed against the ingress of dust and liquids in accordance with protection classes IP65 and IP68 and can even withstand prolonged immersion in water. The operating temperature range is from -20 °C to +50 °C.

Battery: The battery is user replaceable and enables long runtimes of up to twelve hours. It can be swapped while the device is running. The mobile computers Memor 30 and Memor 35 support wireless charging.
