Datalogic Magellan 9400i: Powerful Barcode Scanner for Cash Desk Areas

The Magellan 9400i from Datalogic enables you a smooth and time-saving work process at the cash counter. The device can scan several codes at the same time and is equipped with a Magellan Customer Service Scanner (CSS) with flexible mounting for reading customer cards and coupons – bar codes in digital or printed form.

The imager provides various innovative features such as the ScaleSentry process, which controls the weighing process and the All-Weighs Scale Platter, an additional surface to ensure accurate weighing results for larger products. The invisible infrared beam captures the goods and the system makes a signal sound in case of inaccuracies which indicates a weighing error to the cashier. This reduces inventory differences and minimizes unnecessary losses.

Without manually intervention in the process, the Magellan 9400i captures all 1D and 2D barcodes at all reading levels. The device is equipped with the Datalogic Clear Glass as standard. Remote maintenance can be easily implemented using the built-in systems (IBM Systems Director, Wavelink, JavaPOS and OPOS) and save you annoying repairs.

Compared to the Magellan 9300i, the Magellan 9400i has an integrated additional processor that supports Digimarc’s powerful graphics.
