DATALOGIC CODiSCAN: Versatile Wearable Scanner

Highly efficient barcode scanning: The Datalogic CODiScan allows barcodes and matrix codes to be scanned quickly and efficiently at close range and up to a distance of around 1.5 meters. The LED aimer is clearly visible. A green spot projected on the barcode, three LEDs on the scanner and a signal tone provide clear feedback when a barcode has been successfully scanned. A vibration feedback option is also available.

Flexible wearing options: The CODiScan Bluetooth scanner can either be attached to the back of the hand using a strap or it can be worn on a lanyard or belt clip. The one-size hand cuff is available for right- and left-handers. Velcro fasteners enable individual adjustment. The electronic parts, consisting of the trigger and the scanner mount, can be removed from the hand cuff. Thus, the hand cuff can be washed and even replaced if necessary. The scan is conveniently triggered with the thumb. All in all, a very comfortable and sustainable solution. Alternatively, the CODiScan can be attached to a retractable bracket on a lanyard or a belt clip to be quickly at hand when needed. The scanner is equipped with a scan trigger.

Battery for continuous use: The CODiScan has a powerful battery that lasts for up to 16 hours or around 12,000 scans per charge. It is fully recharged in around two hours. Several charging options are available, for example a modular 2-slot charger which can be extended as needed to charge up to 6 devices using the same power supply.

Wireless data transmission: The CODiScan is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and has a radio range of up to 100 meters. The scanner can be paired with Bluetooth-enabled mobile computers. To use a stationary PC or a vehicle computer, a Gateway is required. Up to seven Bluetooth devices can be connected to the Gateway. Data is then transferred either via USB cable or Wi-Fi. The Gateway also enables cloud solutions. The wearable scanners can be easily configured using the Datalogic Aladdin software suite.

Robust wearable scanner: Whether in the warehouse, in dispatch or production—speedy work processes are the be-all and end-all. The CODiScan is built to withstand everyday strain. It is resistant to drops from a height of 1.8 meters and sealed against dust and water in accordance with protection class IP54. The operating temperature is between -20 °C and +50 °C.
