DATALOGIC MATRIX 220 SERIES: Wide Range of Fixed Scanners for Industrial Applications

Efficient workflows with automated data capture: The Matrix 220 series from Datalogic offers a wide range of industrial data capture devices for track and trace as well as quality assurance and to streamline processes. The 1.2-megapixel sensor allows high-performance image capture. The electronic focus control enables remote adjustment during assembly line reconfiguration. There is a 7 mm or a 12 mm lens available with reading ranges between 40 mm and 600 mm (depending on the lens). A maximum scan rate of 45 frames per second enables high-speed processes.

Illumination options for different applications: Not every barcode can be detected with white light. Direct part markings (DPM) can be found on all sorts of materials with different properties. For example, it can be challenging for barcode readers to identify codes on reflective or shiny surfaces. The Matrix 220 series also includes models for DPM capture with either blue or red light and a polarizing filter to reduce reflections. Scanners with UV illumination enable data capture from products that are marked with UV-active fluorescent ink. High-power illuminator models allow high-speed applications.

Processing power to match the application: The fixed scanners in the Matrix 220 series are available with either a dual-core or quad-core processor. The standard solution with two cores achieves a clock frequency of 600 MHz. The premium version reaches 1,200 MHz and offers supreme image processing power for high-speed workflows. The Windows-based configuration software DL.CODE and an intuitive HMI facilitate configuration and use of the versatile scanners.

The Datalogic Matrix 220 fixed scanners have a compact size and are available with either straight or 90-degree connectors for flexible mounting.
