This also reduces the load on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The Cisco Catalyst 9164I access point ensures a reliable, low-latency wireless network that is not susceptible to interference, even when many end devices are connected.

Optimal performance: With the Catalyst 9164I, it is possible to implement enterprise-level IoT and cloud-based applications, for example in retail and industry. Three Wi-Fi frequencies (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz) as well as OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology enables multi-gigabit internet speed. Collaboration applications, such as high-resolution video conferencing systems, run smoothly. Additionally, the AP is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 LE. Due to its scalability, the Catalyst 9164I access point allows great flexibility for your company’s network infrastructure.

Security: Cisco’s Trust Anchor module provides protection against firmware and software manipulation. Programs are only started after the authenticity has been verified. Secure Unique Device Identifier (SUDI), a secure boot function, and WPA3 encryption are part of the multi-layer security concept. The access point Catalyst 9164I is compatible with the wireless controller Cisco Catalyst 9800-L.
