Outdoor Wireless Connectivity: The Catalyst 9124AXE access point is designed for harsh outdoor environments. It is resistant to extreme temperatures and humidity. With the access point Catalyst 9124AXE, mobile devices, such as handheld computers or tablets, can be reliably connected to the internet outdoors.
Latest technology for wireless internet access: The Catalyst 9124AXE access point from Cisco uses Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and supports OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology. Data can be received and transmitted at multigigabit speed. Radio connections are possible via 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. External antennas ensure higher speeds as well as better radio reception. The Catalyst 9124AXE is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.
Enterprise-class management and security: Catalyst access points can be centrally monitored and managed with the Cisco DNA software. It ensures transparency for the entire network. Updates can be automated and applied to the whole system.
The software includes tools for real-time system analysis and troubleshooting. Cisco’s Trust Anchor technology protects the enterprise network from tampering by means of multiple security layers, such as hardware and software authentication, encryption, and a secure boot function.
The access point Catalyst 9124AXE is available with internal wireless controller or can be used with wireless controllers of the Catalyst 9800 series.
