ADVANTECH UTC-115: Straight Lines, Flexible Applications
The Advantech UTC-115 tablet computer provides several I/O ports: 2 x Gigabit Ethernet (1 with PoE), 2 x COM connector (1 x RS-232/1 x RS-232/422/485), 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 (optional), 1 x HDMI. Peripherals, such as barcode readers, RFID readers, smart card readers etc. can be connected according to requirements. This makes the Advantech UTC-115 a particularly versatile choice for various applications.
An Intel Celeron N3450 quad-core processor with 4 GB or 8 GB (soon available) RAM and 128 GB SSD is integrated and ensures dependable data processing. The UTC-115 tablet computer by Advantech can either be used with the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (64-bit) operating system or with Android 8.1. In the future it will also be possible to use the Linux Ubuntu operating system. In order to customize the mobile computer, there are versions without wireless connectivity or with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth available.
A very convenient feature of the Advantech UTC-115 tablet is its 15.6-inch wide screen HD display (16:9 format). Its projected-capacitive multi-touch operating panel is robust and user-friendly. The tablet computer also comes with a standardized VESA mount to attach the device as needed to a bracket or on the wall. The UTC-115 is resistant against shock and vibration and its front panel complies with protection class IP65, sealed against the ingress of dust and water.
