ADVANTECH AIM-78S: Industrial-grade Tablet with Adjustable Features
Reliable data processing: The AIM-78S is equipped with a Qualcomm SD660 CPU. It provides 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, which can be extended by up to 2 TB using a MicroSD card. The AIM-78S runs Android 13.
Tablet for difficult environments: Advantech’s AIM-78S mobile computer is designed specifically for use in industrial environments. Its solid housing is sealed against the ingress of particles and water in accordance with protection class IP65. The tablet is also resistant against drops (1.2 m), shocks and vibration.
A touchscreen suitable for all scenarios: The AIM-78S is equipped with a scratch-resistant touchscreen made of Corning Gorilla Glass. For outdoor use, a version with a particularly high light output of 800 nits is available. This allows content to be read effortlessly even in bright ambient light. The 10.1-inch multi-touch display offers a pleasant user interface with Full HD resolution. The AIM-78S can be operated with gloves.
Communication interfaces and ports: The Advantech AIM-78S tablet PC is equipped with Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth and NFC. It has a USB 3.1 port (Type C), which supports data communication and USB tethering, and a USB 2.0 port (Type A) as standard. Additional ports can be added via Pogo connector.
Photo and data acquisition: The AIM-78S industrial tablet has two cameras: a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Additional modules can be added for efficient digital data capture, for example barcode, magnetic card or RFID readers (see extension modules).
Battery: Depending on the use, the battery capacity lasts for approximately 6 hours. The battery is replaceable and fully recharged in less than 3 hours.
Extension modules: Barcode scanner with 20° or 70° angle, MSR + barcode scanner, LAN + COM, UHF RFID reader (standard or flat type)
Accessories: Vehicle docking station, VESA docking station, desk docking station, multi-slot charging station, hand strap, shoulder strap, active stylus etc.
